WoodCreek Neighbors,
The situation with the pool has become dire. Please read the following and keep our neighborhood and our pool safe for our kids and residents.
As a firm reminder:
—NO GUESTS ALLOWED IN THE POOL WITHOUT A RESIDENT PRESENT
—NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE POOL
—NO SMOKING OR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR GLASS ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA
—CLEAN UP YOUR AREA WHEN YOU LEAVE
—NO CHILDREN UNDER TWELVE MAY SWIM WITHOUT AN ADULT PRESENT (21 YEARS OF AGE)
—NO JUMPING THE FENCE
Remember, you signed an agreement when you received your pool key. It is binding and your right to visit the pool may be revoked if you or your guests violate our neighborhood rules. The rules are for the safety of all, and for preventing lawsuits and preserving our pool. With that in mind, please monitor those around you when you are at the pool. Call for help if you need it. Call the police if the situation is out of control. We are neighbors and the pool belongs to all of us, but it is private property and we are all it’s caretakers.
This incident happened yesterday. Please read:
Neighbors,
I won’t sugar coat this message to avoid ruffled feathers. The pool was a MESS after today’s activities. There were wet soggy tortilla chips, rainbow Goldfish, and Cheerios under chairs and tables as well as orange seeds right by the ladder and trash ALL OVER THE DECK. I found a used feminine product on the floor in the bathroom as well as 2 brand new toilet paper rolls soggy and EVERYWHERE on the floor in the girls bathroom. Shattered glass is now right outside our back fence too. I can’t believe this is how we live inside our homes or allow our kids and their friends to treat our homes. We are having numerous complaints about rules being violated. Food, trash and unsupervised kids are among a few of the complaints.
Kids: Kids under 12 can only be at our pool with an ADULT. I believe today’s mess is a result of that not happening.
Food: It should be understood that cleaning up after ourselves is necessary.
Guest: So that everyone can enjoy their time at the pool, we have a guest limit of 6. If you want more, please book a private party for $100. It’s a great opportunity that we introduced last year. Calendar is posted on the office window with openings. Please make sure you are cleaning up after your guest.
Pool Keys: If you are not with your guest, your guest should not be at our pool, bottom line. A group of high school or young adults, were given a key this past weekend and left cigarettes everywhere by the picnic table. Our pool is not a free for all.
Gates: the side gate is often climbed on by kids. This has caused that gate to continually jam. We can’t really even use it. It was placed there so that the picnic table could be easily accessed. We are hearing that kids are now jumping over the back fence. Where are the parents?
We can do better than this and should do better. If you see something going on, address it. Pick up your trash, monitor your kids, follow the rules and let’s all have a fun summer at the nicest, biggest residential pool in Jenks.
